St. Peter's Summer Ale - $3.50/16.9fl.oz.
My new summer beverage, simple as that. The Suffolk, UK microbrewery (to apply an American idea to English beermaking) St. Pete's took care of me in the wintertime with their tasty porter, and now they've seen fit to provide us with something for the warmer months. This is no wimpy brew though: its mellow amber-golden color only hints at the rich, rounded, fruity and hoppy qualities to be found within. Thankfully it's not too heavy of an ale either, and thus is perfect for hot-weather back-porch early-evening sipping. Bonus points: the brewery's signature flask-shaped green bottle continues to be ever so cool. -KR
