Spring Bubbles!
Ah, Spring has finally sprung! Time for glorious sunshine, bulbs blooming, long-awaited warmth, and delightful, bug-free evenings on my very recently deep-cleaned porch! Yeah! I think we should have a toast! Bring on the bubbles, please!
These days I've had the biggest crush on the German Gilabert Cava. Made from a traditional blend of Cava grapes (Xarello, Macabeo, and Paradella) with no added sugar, this seductive, Spanish sparkler is lively, vibrant and simply chock full of vim and vigor. It has a clean, crisp, almost explosive effervescence, making it so very refreshing and ridiculously easy to drink. I think if Spring had a calling card, it just might be this boisterous bottle!
